Ivan Kaufman is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Arbor Management Acquisition Company (AMAC). He has extensive experience operating a diverse array of real estate finance companies that spans four decades and numerous real estate cycles. He is currently the Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ABR), a leading multifamily and commercial real estate lender and real estate investment trust that became publicly traded in April 2004. He was also the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC, a multifamily finance company he began in 1995 and that was later acquired by Arbor Realty Trust in July 2016. In addition, Ivan Kaufman is Chief Executive Officer of ArborCrowd, a groundbreaking online investment portal that provides accredited investors with the technology, knowledge and opportunity to invest in commercial real estate alongside institutional investors. He was also the founder of Arbor National Holdings, Inc. and its lending subsidiary, Arbor Mortgage, Inc. Created in 1983, Arbor Mortgage grew to 25 branches in 11 states and financed one of every eight loans in the New York metropolitan area. The company became publicly traded in 1988 and was sold to Bank of America in 1995.
